Sweetie Kai - Island House #6
Welcome to Sweetie Kai, Island House #6.
This 2-bedroom home has been completely renovated from top to bottom and outfitted by an interior designer with beautiful finishes and decor. New ceiling fans enhance the tropical breezes while the air conditioning keeps things cool on warmer days in both the bedrooms and living areas.
The living, dining, and kitchen areas are on the first floor along with a powder room and laundry. A sunroom with a daybed sits at the front of the home off the living area. It’s the perfect spot for reading books or as an overflow sleeping space for kids.
The living and dining areas open onto a spacious, fully screened patio with vaulted ceilings. Enjoy a tropical breakfast or breezy dinner without pesky bugs.
Upstairs, you’ll find two identical bedrooms, each with a private balcony and ensuite bathroom. The balconies overlook the screened patio providing elevated views of the waterfront.
Sleeping Arrangements
(Sleeps 4 adults - 6 guests max.)
- Primary Suite: upper level, king bed, waterfront views, TV, private balcony, A/C with remote, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with shower.
- Guest Suite: upper level, 2 full beds, waterfront views, private balcony, A/C with remote, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with shower and tub combo.
- Sunroom: lower level, twin daybed, ceiling fan.
If you like staying active, you’ll find hand weights, 2 yoga mats, 2 bikes, 2 kayaks (a single and tandem), and 1 stand-up paddleboard, all yours to use during your stay (signed waiver required).
The Island Houses consist of 18 privately owned townhomes encircling a shared pool at the end of Cayman Kai cove. Perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding, the cove is home to Cayman’s Bioluminescence Bay. Experience the beautiful glowing waters on moonless nights.
The other big draw to this neighborhood is its proximity to the restaurants and water sports at Rum Point Beach. Guests can easily stroll across the street for a barefoot beach experience with snorkeling and shaded hammocks.
Finally, a short bike ride south on Water Cay Road is where you’ll find the Kaibo, a luxe beach dining destination, and marina. The Kaibo serves lunch and dinner along with a coffee bar for lattes and breakfast items.
Ferry service departs daily from the marina across the sound to Camana Bay, an up-scale mall with boutique shops, restaurants, and a cinema—perfect for day trips!
Just beyond the marina is Starfish Point, a secluded beach spot with crystal clear shallow water teeming with starfish. Pack a picnic and head to the point for sunset views that will leave you breathless.
With so many attractions just outside your door, Sweetie Kai checks all the boxes for an incredible Cayman vacation. Let’s go!
*Note: A Cleaning Fee is included due to enhanced cleaning, sanitation, and inspection protocols.
**Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) are available for discounted rental. Signed waiver is required.

Amenities
Beach Notes
These nine clusters of 2-story townhomes sit staggered along the water's edge with a shared community freshwater pool overlooking the island's Bioluminescent Bay.
Famous for its glowing nighttime waters, Bio Bay is a phenomenon not to be missed especially on moonless nights. Explore at your own pace or book a guided tour with our friends at Cayman Kayaks and Sweet Spot Watersports.
While Bio Bay is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, it is not ideal for swimming due to its soft muddy bottom. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and tropical drinks, head across the street to the new Rum Point Club.
Beachfront Dining
Fully renovated and reopened to the public, the new Rum Point Club offers a spectacular barefoot beach experience with vibrant snorkeling, watersport rentals, plus a new restaurant, and an open-air beach bar.
Another dining destination in the neighborhood is the Kaibo. A favorite among locals, the Kaibo consists of a coffee shop and two restaurants, a casual beach bar and grill, and a fine dining restaurant. Live music, beach barbecues, and full moon parties are highlights at Kaibo.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally from the images shown due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years.
Sargassum RARELY is an issue at the Island Houses.
